Ryan Raider Football Championship Ring Fund

A few weeks ago, the Denton Ryan Raiders won the Class 5A Division I State Football Championship and finished the season undefeated for only the second time in school history. The state football championship in Texas is one of the hardest championships to win in the country. Our young men did a great job of working hard, overcoming adversity, getting better every day, and playing unselfishly, as a Team. They made Raider Nation proud! Like most championships, we are in the process of ordering championship rings for our team to commemorate this special season. This ring is something they can hold onto for a lifetime, in addition to all the memories they created.

We feel the results of this season not only reflect positively on the achievements of our student-athletes and Ryan High School but also the involvement and support of Denton ISD and the City of Denton. As many of you already know, some of our kids will have a difficult time being able to pay for these championship rings because of circumstances beyond their control.

We are asking for, and need our community, local businesses, Raiders for Life, and friends of high school athletics to step up and help offset the cost of these rings. Very simply, we are asking you to donate whatever you can to help our program. Even prior to sending out this letter, the generosity of people in this community toward this goal has already blown me away. We are hoping to offset the cost for the entire team if we can.

We are also very aware these are trying financial times for many. Please understand, every donation helps, no matter how big or small. If you choose to donate, we can provide a letter showing that your donation is tax-deductible.
